I was born in Poland in 1980. During that time of political turmoil and the Solidarity movement that followed, my parents decided to immigrate to Australia when I was at the age of two. Since then I have been raised in Melbourne by my mother and have gone on to be the first in my family to finish a University Degree.

At the age of 21, I purchased my first investment property and Real Estate has been my passion from then on. Since then I have purchased properties in multiple cities around Australia either in joint ventures or on my own. I started up an IT company in 2002 and have been juggling my time between running that business and my Real Estate ventures.

After being happily married for 4 years our first child arrived in October 2010. My wish was always to be able to spend most of my time watching my children grow up and I'm delighted to say, the choices my wife Antoniette and I made, laid the foundations to be able to do so.

In late 2010, I decided it was time to diversify my portfolio outside of Australia and look at investments overseas. My first choice was America because of two factors. We speak the same language and the opportunity the 2007 - 2010 house price correction provided.

In 2011, I plan to spend the next 12 months aggressively looking for residential and commercial investment opportunities in the US, then reassess and consider focusing on one of the depressed European countries for further opportunities.

As an investor, I look for the win-win situations in every deal and believe that it is only when both parties leave smiling, this it is truly a good investment.
